Yareth's Mexican Fast Food
About This Spot
Stepping into Yareth's Mexican Fast Food feels like entering a familiar neighborhood nook where the warmth isn’t just from the kitchen but from the people who gather there. It’s a cozy, unpretentious spot tucked away on West 52nd Avenue in Denver, where the pace slows just enough to enjoy the simple comfort of hearty Mexican flavors served with care.
The space carries a friendly hum—the kind of background noise made up of quiet conversations, the clinking of plates, and the occasional laughter from patrons who return like old friends. There’s an ease to the rhythm here, inviting you to settle in for a moment, whether it’s for a quick breakfast before the day unfolds or a relaxing meal in the evening.
Food at Yareth’s centers on beloved classics that feel both home-cooked and thoughtfully seasoned, like huevos rancheros smothered in cheese or a chorizo scramble with just the right balance of spice. The heart of the experience lies in those layers of comforting textures and flavors: tender pork crowned with melty cheese, beans and rice offering a familiar backdrop, or a chile relleno that carries a gentle heat embraced by a cool dollop of sour cream. It’s not about flashy presentations but about that satisfying sense of fullness and warmth that lingers well after the last bite.
What often stays with regulars and newcomers alike is the quiet generosity of the kitchen—the little extras that make a visit feel personal, whether it’s an unexpected snack alongside a burrito or the consistent quality that keeps drawing people back. At Yareth’s, food isn’t just fuel—it’s a small celebration of everyday moments, shared over simple plates in a space that feels like a corner turned toward home.

Mhm. Very tasty burritos. I think their food is centered around their excellent chilli. I even got a little extra snack as a first time customer. I look forward to coming here next time I'm in town.

Burrito was fantastic. Only thing I would have liked would have been more rice to soak up some of the deliciousness!

Stopped in on the way to work for a quick burrito. When I entered I was greeted by a very friendly woman. I placed my order, a chorizo, potato, egg, chili, and cheese burrito. While waiting we discussed the weather outside. She was very nice. The burrito itself was excellent. I ordered extra spicy, and there was not much spice detected, but it was all very good. It is small, you order at the counter and there is nowhere to sit, but it was very good carry out food. I would recommend stopping by when in the area. Oh, and her credit card machine was broken so it was cash only. Luckily, I had some cash, so no big deal.
